i coordinate interactions about object-making. i’m interested in the representations of collaborative productions. visual constructions are rigorous narratives, exercising multiple points of view. (i make things with people.)
Begun in 1994, Still Life is an ongoing commitment to object-making/non-painting made of rose petals, acrylic gel and varnish. The skeletals range from galvanized wire, to domestic recyclables to packaging. I made this installation in 2015, consisting of plastic food, drink and toy containers and packaging set atop a children's furniture set. There's a sense of both excess and frugality; death and life; decay and possibility.
