Still Life (quadriptych)

This quadriptych offers panoramic views of a table setting, a still-life made with objects of embroidery thread, plastic grocery bags and found recycled food plastics. It is a digital representation of the fractal qualities of daily living. Moving the camera’s panoramic view with my entire body, not just my arms, my arms and feet too. I move and the centre in the viewfinder shifts, and in the decentering of the composition’s focal objects with my entire body, the camera captures the scene anew, making visible the arc of (my) full movement. Some details are lost, and others are replicated (the same heart, thrice). The still image thus captures a never-ending pattern of a dynamic system.
