PULL is a photo documentation of the uprooting of a rock elm. The installation begins somewhere in the middle of the pull, where tree limbs are phantoms, cars are nowhere to be seen, and a ladder lays useless. Set against a car garage, a pile of wood, the electric power lines, human strength, the persistence of a variety of energy sources and uses are made visible. The series is shown on two screens set next to ane another. You are visiting Paola Poletto's projects in photography, drawing, writing and creative collaboration.
